A Nautical Almanac is essential for celestial navigation. In an era where digital solutions are prevalent, opting for a digital Nautical Almanac that encompasses 100 years of data (1960 - 2059) is a cost-effective choice compared to purchasing a new book annually. This digital version is offered at less than half the price of a single year's physical almanac.

The data is meticulously formatted and structured in a manner consistent with the official Nautical Almanacs published by both the US Naval Observatory (USNO) and the Hydrographic and Meteorological Authority of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba (HMNAO).

ezNA executes all astronomical calculations utilizing NOVAS 3.1 software from the US Naval Observatory and a JPL ephemeris covering the years 1960 through 2059. As these calculations are performed within the app, ezNA operates independently of a data connection.

It is noteworthy that this digital Nautical Almanac is incorporated into ezAlmanacOne, our comprehensive celestial navigation solution. Therefore, purchasing ezNA separately is unnecessary for existing ezAlmanacOne users.

While ezNA provides valuable functionalities to assist with Nautical Almanac tables, it does not serve as an all-encompassing celestial navigation solution. Users can perform only one full sight reduction at a time. By employing ezNA alongside manual recording and plotting methods, users can effectively generate fixes manually.
